Why is unemployment higher in the muslim community?

They are masters of 'working' the system. The ones I know all work on the side, Taxi driving, restaurants etc, They really are a despicable group of people.
But as we keep on getting told, 'they are good for the country'!
Why work when they get money for nothing and just do cash in hand work
Obviously this not applicable to just Muslims,
because they're all busy making time bombs.
because they hate america, so they won't work to pay tax
because it's easier to stay home than to work
because most of them are black
because society won't give them work base on their belief

I'm guessing lots of people will say it's because of discrimination but I don't think it is, though I'm not sure what the cause of it could be.
because women dont work therefore they are unemployed

they are concentrating on non-important things
than the major improvement things for their own lives.
Because its hard to be productive when you have to pray every 30 minutes.
It appears their culture has embraced some aspects of socialism which causes this problem. Also causes lines for basics (as it did for toilet paper in the USSR). This is yet another example of why strict socialist practices will always fail.
they make it thier choise to be unemployed to get the grants and benefits,those figures are probably the women as the men are out working thier shops.what you got to look at too is the size of the familys that claim benefits....
I read an article in a Muslim English language paper (I will read anything when I am bored) that said many young men refuse to take jobs that they or their family find beneath them.
For example driving a truck or doing any kind of labor. Or working in a factory. They will only except managerial positions.
How true this is I don't know. But obviously everybody cant just be the boss, they cant have a nation of all clerks etc.
It is a climate thing. It is in their genes.
If you come from a hot climate such as Arabia and Pakistan it is too hot to develop a work ethos. This manifests itself by the fact that most of the work in those countries is done by ex patriots. The work around their homes is done by the women while the menfolk are sitting on their haunches or attending mosques several times a day.
When it became known that they could get an income provided by the tax payer they made their way to our country and found that old habits die hard.
well the fact is a lot of people will not give them a job, i know there will be people reading this saying yes they will but be honest, how many painters and builders do you know that would give an Asian a job.
in my local we had a talk about this question, one guy said coz they only come here for benefits, at this point the landlord stepped in to the debate and said to the guy, hang on when i told you a Asian man had been for an interview for a job working behind the bar, you said if he gets the job you and your friends would not drink in here,so how can you say they don't want to work.
he was shot down and sat sulking for the rest of the night.
pps, id just like to say if Frank S is so right, how does he explain that when you need something from a shop late at night or on a public holiday its always Asian shops that are open. when my car needed fixing i took it to a lot of garages to get it fixed, coz it was near dinner time on a Saturday no-one wanted to know, only an Asian garage, so Frank S i don't think you know what your talking about, no wonder you hide from e-mail's
Maybe its becuase of the anti-tolerance for thier religious beliefs

I find it hard to believe no has said "Because there isn't much call for terrorists or suicide bombers". From what I have seen IN THE WORLD, I have found this religion to not be respected due to what they have done in the past. Hiring them would not even enter many peoples minds. This is merely from what I have observed!
according to the link u mentioned, below the age of 24 are higher than 24 and above, Muslims normally support their children until they finish studying they are part of the family they don't just go and live on their own.,,,until they get married unlike America and Europa, even christian families are the same they are bond together, so that's why u will find that until the age of 24 fore they are inactive then they start to work and have a family of their own raise children usually the mother take this part in the family...its not because working is forbidden for women its priority what is better 4 the children , then u will find Muslims remain active until they are old in age they stop working and here comes the role for the children to take care of their parents as well , in Muslim community , Muslims should obey and love and respect the elders specially their parents and that is their duty towards them. I suppose that's the reason?!! + people are afraid to hire Muslims .. thinking all of them are terrorist...which is not true, and I would like to tell rosko . Muslims don't pray every 30 minutes we have 5 prayers and hours separates them and for ur knowledge women offer prayer at the same time.its either you have the wrong idea or you want to give the wrong idea?!!
