How retailing affects the economy?

how?
can you give me a picture

Answer:
First of all the 'economy' can be looked at in two ways. The first is incredibly complicated and I doubt that anyone actually understands it overall. The second is very simplistic but the only way the average person can understand it.

The second consist of one simple thing and that is cash flow. The more money being spent the stronger the economy. This only works as a snapshot of the economy and is poor at predicting trends. But using this formula the more products being manufactured and sold the stronger the economy. Meaning that the more consumers are buying ( retail ) the better the economy.
