How do you read a stock market?

Answer:
You can study stock charting..where you analyze an individual stock based on the historical quotes on a daily basis on the open, close and volume.. You can use a multiple of indicators to get an idea if the stock is oversold or overbought and whether the On balance volume is increasing and match with the accumulation of the stock.. other good indicators are the CCI Equis from Metastock.. or candlestick charting for short to mid term trading.
U have to keep a close watch on the Last rate, the bid volume and the ask volume. (bid volume and ask volume tells u the selling and buying of the particular share in the market.) Last rate help u analyse the position of the shares.
Hope that helps.
