At the moment because of the high cost of the looney(Canada's dollar) manufacturing jobs are being lost and Ontario's once vibrant economy is sinking.
However those with oil resources, Alberta, Newfoundland and Labrador are having a boom in their economy because they are oil and gas rich. Saskatchewan is becoming the Silicon Valley of Canada with technology and Manitoba and BC are getting stronger economy wise.
You really need to go to www.canada.gc. ca and look up stats on the economy or contact Stats Canada.
