How is Vietnam doing as a country right now? economy wise and political wise..?

I cant really find an answer does anybody have any ideas

Answer:
i think their economic growth is increasing fast probably because of globalisation...
Economically Vietnam is doing quite well. It has a youthful, energetic, optimistic and educated workforce. It is developing a comparative advantage in manufacturing and IT.

However Vietnam does have a few problems. Bureaucracy and corruption prevent small businesses from flourishing. People are therefore naturally reluctant to pool their money together to invest in large capital projects. It is quite funny to witness this in any Vietnamese city - everybody invests in their own house by building extra floors, causing these tall but narrow buildings to dot the skyline.

Politically Vietnam is stable, but still is a one party state with limited media freedoms. The Vietnamese generally dont seem to mind about this anyway
Vietnam growing quick some later years, growing about 9% per year , only after China in growing percents

Vietnam will join WTO 8th this month. Alot of investor and investment from over seas come to Vietnam. Mr Bush will come too :) . he'll come this month

Viet nam is not rich but not poor . i'm Vietnamese and living in Ho Chi Minh city now. if you have any question just ask me

thanks
You should visit some websites of Western media corporations and search for Vietnam. I think you will get more than you need.
Good luck.
