What is classed as an unexceptible standard of living?

is it fine to live without heating etc

Answer:
Living without a roof over your head.
living WITH the animals. OR just go and live in a frat house-I'm sure it's pretty equal.
living without food, water or shelter
not tonight - its freezing!

without curtains - thats totally unacceptable.
It's spelled unacceptable. And the answer would be living without a tv
Unacceptable I would class as living in total scum with rubish everwhere and food matted into the carpet. (if there is one) not having a shower for weeks and wearing the same clothes! There really is no need!
unexceptable living standards are basic...shelter,..i would say heating...food, water, and medical.
anywhere in yorkshire
Having to sh*t in a bucket
I think it's fine to live with out heating.

It's not fine to live without running water, or food...obviously.
In the UK central heating became essential for all rented accomodation in Jan 2006 so if your house doesnt have it you are legally entitled to force your land lord to install it.
villa in greece yes its okay, it is unexceptible that i cannot afford servants...i am sick to death of the uk,ones standard has dropped its not just the peasants that have suffered under Blair .why should the rich be penalised as well . the poor have grown used to it . the rich deserve better
In UK it's usually accepted that the figures from the Joseph Rowntree trust or foundation give basic living standards, I'm pretty sure that the figures have been used by UK governments to make social policy decisions
