How much would a 1889 silver dollar be worth?
Answer:
A dollar. No more than $20 even to the most hardcore coin collector.
depends on condition. you need to find a reputable coin dealer. when you go to him/her don't let the coin out of your sight, 'cause it would only take a second to swap coins on you. It also depends on where the coin was minted. you can tell this by a small letter , usually by the date. cc means carson city, which by the way, is a very nice mint mark to have. a couple on ebay right now for 5-6 hundred $. p means philadelphia and is a common mint mark (not much money worth) o is new orleans, also common; s is san francisco not sure how common. but from what I saw on ebay, carson city seems to be the ticket hope this helped!
