R we a slave to the economy?
Answer:
No. It is the reverse: the economy is the slave and the people are the masters. The economy suffers because of the actions and interactions of the people in the economy. It is the people's innovatveness, sentiments, behaviour, the greed, the fear, the resistance to change, the laziness, the productivity and application of mind, the risk taking attitude, the prudence in spending and saving, the national ethoes, the advances in the field of science and technology --- all these are the attributes of the people like us.--- that determine the health and shape of the economy. Economy is a only a reflection of the people, just like war and peace are.
That depends on the person/there job/there age. and a lot of other factors. Some people are some are not.
This is definitely a poorly defined question. What do you mean by slave? If you mean someone who is physically coerced against their will to work, then definitely not!!! Just because some people face difficult circumstances *does not* make them slaves!!
No.
We are a slave to the welfare state and big government.
