Dollar bills vs Dollar coins?
I like Dollar coins more, since they don't get torn up and they go into vending machines easier.

It took awhile to get used to them, Now I couldn,t tell you what the $1 and $2 notes looked like.

I think dollar coins make more sense. Paper money easily tears, rendering them unusable. Bills wear down a whole lot more quickly. Coins do not. I see coins dated back from the '60s and earlier all the time. But, you rarely see a bill dated back 20 years. Coins will last longer nad cut down on the expense of having to make the money.
The problem of dollar coins is that the American populace has yet to embrace it. The government has tried several times to get a dollar coin into wide use and circulation, but to very little avail. Americans seem to like the traditional dollar bill. I am with them in that it is easier and perhaps more logical to have one type of money for fractions of a dollar and a different type for whole dollars.
Debit cards are faster, and these days are accepted everywhere except vending machines.
