Ethiopia-the oldest recorded skeletal of a human
Africa. Scientists just descovered using skulls that all people derived from Africa. I read it this morning in Yahoo news.
Ham (Bible)
If you want the biblical answer, it was one of Noah's sons. He had three. one was black, one was white, and one was asian looking, at least as far as skin colors go. I don't think it was the first black person, but the only definite one if you want to go really far back. This isn't noted in the Bible but some theologians believe it.

But, where did he/she come from? I'm not sure. Noah's ark landed in the mountains of Ararat in Turkey(if you want to go along with the first section.

Basically. No one really knows. Scientists can guess all they want and maybe, but probably not, get a general area. But, when it boils down to it, no one can tell you.
lol... I don't think you are a racist for asking. The answer is in more detail and is as follows (if you believe the word of God, the Bible to be true) Remember that the world was destroyed by flood, and the only survivors were Noah, his wife, his three sons and their wives. From Noah's sons, Shem, Japheth and Ham, all the peoples of the world would be descended.

Genesis 10:21-31 The descendants of Shem settled the northern area of Persian Gulf and westward into toward the Indian Ocean. Included in this area are the lands of Syria, Chaldea and parts of Assyria, Persia and the Arabian peninsula. The spiritual blessing promised by Noah, came to all people on Earth through the lineage of Shem to the Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Genesis 10:6-20 Ham's descendants settled towards the south west along the Mediterranean into North Africa and southward into the rest of the continent. Ham had four sons, but grandsons are listed for only three.

Genesis 10:2-5 The descendants of Japheth, after the Tower of Babel, when God made man go out and populate the world migrated west and north. The sons of Japheth's sons are listed giving more detail than is found in the list of Ham's or Shem's sons. A study of names Japheth's sons and grandsons sheds some light on who are his descendants today.

Hope this makes sense, it kinda answers the question of whom all races come from.

The first black person evolved in Africa. More than likely black people are the missing link between cave men and modern men. In an area such as Africa, with the extreme heat, excessive body hair (chest, back, ect.,.) would not be needed-however, a larger nose, more athletic build, and darker skin tone would be for survival.

Not to discredit the story of Noah, I am a Christian and follow the teachings of the bible, but I also realize it was written by man-and man is flawed, so to say the bible is not is a contradiction.

It is true (as far as I know) that the oldest human remains were found in Africa, however, it is highly unlikely that these remains were covered with black skin, as much so as covered with hair-and with any hair covered creature, shave off the hair and the skin is white.

Being black is/was needed to survive. If the theories of evolution hold true, with as little time (and less by the year) as we as a species of homo-sapiens spend outside-the more like we all are to become white.
