What's the purpose of humans?

We had a reason and screwed up badly if you want the biblical answer.
God had us as stewards of the world where we looked after everything on it. As soon as we ate that apple from the tree of wisdom then we fell from grace and now man must repent and be aware that we are a fallen race. After you are born again of the holy spirit God gives you a role be it to preaching, helping the poor, spreading the bible could be anything really!
Looking at it from a human point of view with nothing else added in it seems like we're just a speck of sand in an ocean, wondering what our use is, trying to survive and keep ourselves in control besides I see it as total disaster the way the world is going at this moment in time, but it could change who knows...we are human afterall:)
To eat other animals so they don't overgrow the planet. Now we just have to worry about ourselves outgrowing the planet.
I think that humanity has no purpose. I don't think god had a reason to create humans.
