What percentage of people in the US are recieving "welfare money" or SUBSIDATION money/equivalents?

Answer:
Just in my city I wouldn't be surprised if 85% were receiving Welfare..
The numbers for what is conventionally thought as welfare (means tested) are Cash benefits 1.9 million households, Medicaid 53 million recipients, and 25 million people get food stamps. Also 22 million American families with children are eligible for the Earned Income Tax Credit.
If you include other programs that subsidize people such as social security, medicare, home mortgage guarantees, unemployment insurance, student loans, etc. as well as corporate welfare then it is almost everybody.
