See if you can access a Bloomberg Terminal. If not see if your school does not mind purchasing a license for one. We have one at work and it has this kind of data on every major industry you can imagine and you can even pull the data into excel without using the bloomberg application.
Well, you can start off by talking about its high operating leverage, ie high fixed costs. Just google it. That's the main issue w/ airlines. That and rising fuel prices.
