Will the printing mint take 'In God We Trust' off of the money?
For the purpose of removing pseudo-religious.
Answer:
If they do then it will be a sad day in America. But because most American's turned thier back on God. But those who haven't should fight this. We need to remeber the reason that people come to country. It was to uphold the right to worship God and that saying reminds of the that right. I am sure if they wanted to add " united We stand" or "Power to the people" it would pass because those offend less people. But if the saying IN God we trust offends you then you need to go to another country where you are forced to believe in certian ways then tell them what they say offends you and find out what happens. In a nut shell the Morons in the Government will probabally have it removed.
probably, but that would be gay, we've seen that on US currency for a hell of a long time now. i ouldn't want it erased
I hope not. I have written my legislators requesting that any attempt to remove our nation's motto be vetoed. I believe that doing so would not only be offensive to the memories of our founding fathers, but also an attack on my first amendment rights.
see...
"in god we trust"
just isn't "we" anymore...
I'm fine with it but i'm sure anyother atheist out there just doesnt want to be labled as "we"
maybe they can put
"in god some of us trust"
either way i really dont care.
Doubtful it would take a act of congress and they are in enuff hot watter.
Well, I don't know what the mint will do. Obviously, if they want to demote God and remove Him from currency, something is still "wanting." I pray that all of us know that there is noting in this world more valuable than God and "LIFE" which is His greatest gift. What shall we then say to these things, "If God be for us, who can be against us?" - Romans 8:31. The Lord daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah. - Psalm 68:19. Peace and Love.
I doubt it. Scraping off or crossing out all the "In God We Trust"s on billions of bills and coins would be a nightmare.
not bloody likely.
