How can we revoke the fireworks laws in Rhode Island?

You can't. What you are forgetting is there are plenty of morons running around out there that this law is put in place to protect. No elected official is going to pass anything like that because as soon as they do Billy Bob and Bubba are going to light a roman candle and it won't go off so they'll look down the barrell and boom right in the eye. Anyone who wants their job will take poor Billy and Bubba on TV and exclaim how idiotic it was to repeal those laws.
So in the interest of self perservation that law will never change. I recommend a drive to New Hampshire where the laws are much more consistent with "Live Free or Die".
Write a bill, introduce it in the legislature, lobby for passage, await the vote and there ya go!
You can start a petition to have the issue on the ballot. Then let the masses decide.
