In terms of Yearly income, how much money would one person have to make in order to support themselves?
Answer:
Depends on locale. Prices vary significantly from place to place.
According to bankrate.com, a person living in New York City (Manhattan) would need to earn $61,852.52 a year to equal the standard of living of a person making $30,000 in Bozeman, Montana.
Housing (owned or rental), clothing, utilities, food, entertainment and household goods are all more expensive in New York.
New York's cost of living is higher than other large cities, too.
A person making $30,000 in Baltimore would have to make $51,667.88 in NYC to keep the same standard of living.
30,000 minimum if you live in an urban setting. And maybe 20,000 if you live a simple lifestyle in the suburbs. The bigger the city is that you live in, the more expensive it will be to live there. Good Luck and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you so you find a great job and a great apartment.
I know it isn't minimum wage.
Its all relative to where you live.
If you are in a rural area, maybe 25000 is enough, if you are in the city, you need 50000.
Where are you?
It depends on where you live and the lifestyle you desire.

More than minimum wage.
From 12 to 15 thousand minimum, depending on cost of living where you are.
That depends on where you live. I can live off of $20,000. I did for several years and never went into debt in the process.
depends on your age and wants and desires,,,,But if young then I would say without parents help for rent and food and utilities,,,You would need to make 30 to 35 thousand and if you live in a metro place like new york it would take 6 figures to live, in a decent place {A smaller town with lots of Help"""from community then around 20 thlousand or less.
It depends on particular situations like varying rent prices and other bills, but I live by myself and make about $20,000-$24,000 annually. (Each year changes depending on tips and stuff).
it really depends on your cost of living. it depends from city to city. when i graduated high school 5 yrs ago, i lived on my own, and i had a job making 7 dollars an hour 40 hours a week. need to put it down on paper... rent, gas, insurance, electricity, food, phone, car note if you have one. just make a chart with everything thats a necessary. i give myself 200 for gas, 300 for food, 100 for phone, and 150 for electricity bc those things are all unknown from month to month but the others are an exact amount, but you gotta remember its different on paper than to actually follow your budget plan
There are many ways to answer your question, depending on how you want to define "minimum". But, the US defines the poverty line as $9,800 for a single person, and more if you have a family.
