What is Grr stand for?Is that General Repeatibility and Reproducibility?

Answer:
*If you mean GR&R, ther you are right.

*Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R)

*Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility, or GR&R, is a measure of the capability of a gauge or gage to obtain the same measurement reading every time the measurement process is undertaken for the same characteristic or parameter. In other words, GR&R indicates the consistency and stability of a measuring equipment. The ability of a measuring device to provide consistent measurement data is important in the control of any process.
Mathematically, GR&R is actually a measure of the variation of a gage's measurement, and not of its stability. An engineer must therefore strive to minimize the GR&R numbers of his or her measuring equipment, since a high GR&R number indicates instability and is thus undesirable.

[other meaning:
The Glucocorticoid Receptor Resource (GRR)-a component of nuclear reactor.]
[Graphical Representation of Relationships :
GRR is a Windows-based application for detecting pedigree errors via graphically inspecting the distribution for marker allele sharing among pairs of family members or all pairs of individuals in a study. ]
Grr stands for the noise you make when you don't know the answer!
If you mean GRR its
Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility
The basic premise is that 10 people measure a part 10 times and we see what the results are.
there will always be some variation
if there is wide variation between the 10 people or within 10 times for one person, then its assumed that the measurement is not reproducable.
All 10 people should be able to measure the same part 10 times pretty close to each other then its a "good" test
Automakers use this a lot to see the variations of things like plastic consoles, door panels etc.
