looking for a dc 12 volt step up transformer. i can not find one on the internet. i asking if you would help me search the internet for one. first one to post a link with this will get the points. needs to step up to a maxmium of 96.

Turning the 12 dc off and on is called pulsating DC. Pulsating DC has many high frequency components. You will burn out a transformer with pulsating DC.
Alternating Current, AC, is a pure sine wave.
DC cannot be transformed directly.
First run it through an inverter, do the step up transformation, then rectify it again
