What is M & E ,?where is M&E used ?what is the application of M&E ?who is eligible for M&E?

I am a mechanical engineer, i know well AutoCAD, my last interviewer ask What is M&E? , i couldnot answer the question. please give a answer to me.

Answer:
M&E is mechanical and electrical, it is basically mechanical and electrical services within a building, e.g for mechanical services you would have heating and ventilating services such as pipes, ductwork etc. and for electrical you would have lighting, cables etc
M and E = Machanical and Electrical
M, E, and P = Machanical, Electrical, and Plumbing
Archs = Architectural
Strucs = Structural

All of these corrispond with the differnt sections in a Set of drawings.
