How to become herpetologist?

i'm a engineering student but i want to become a herpetologist & wanna work in animal planet so plsss help me

Answer:
get a degree in biology or something. a lot of your engineering classes will probably apply to this major (physics and whatnot)

While you are getting your degree get a summer internship or some kind of campus job working w/ herpetology or just general field experience. I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH. If you graduate with a 4.0 but have no field experience it will be so hard to find a job.

You might also want to go to grad school, but you can spend a few years working first if you want.
I want to be a herpetologist too sometimes.
You should have a loving attitude toward the reptile friends. I just caught a 7 inch lizard in my kitchen. He tried to bit me with his toothless jaw.

I played with him lovingly before I through him out to the lawn. This is how you merge in with them and become one.

The rest, will all be technical. As time goes by you will be only better and more experienced.
