Is computer engg. good profession for my daughter?
Answer:
Yes. It is safe, good corporate ethics are prevalent, pays well, there are better growth prospects, good onsite opurtunities etc etc. Overall an admirable profession.
The chances to get a job also is great these days. So, Radhika, do not worry at all.:-) Go ahead with your decision.
Yes absolutely...but i feel taking information technology in college would be much better..though the entire course is almost the same barring a few subjects in the 3rd and 4th year.I.T will have direct application in the job she would pick up after college...considering the kind of jobs being offered by mnc's during placements........ I.T mainly stresses on software, networking ...and comp engg on hardware.so what people learn in I.T later on comp enggs also have to learn..
I.T is a mix of both comp engg and elec and comm..
yes comp. engg. is a good profession but it will turn to be the best & fruitful career only7 when your daughter has interest in the career.....best of luck.
