I have ranked 15460 in AIEEE-07 I will get Mech. Eng. and other lower ranked branches in NITs except Trichy, Warangal, CALICUT & Suratkhal. Kindly guide me which NIT should I prefer in all spheres ? NIT NAGPUR, JAIPUR,BHOPAL,ROURKELA,SURAT ETC. please tell me wheather mecahnical branch is good for future? or i should opt for any other lower branch.?
Answer:
You can try ,but chances are low. Mechanical engineering is a good branch, but your rank is not as good. I don't want to demoralize you, but you can still try. I may be wrong.
you should be ready to work night shift in factories.
your rank is very good and you will get the best branch because most of the people ranked above you will be through iit-jee. So just have fun.
