What happens with the Transformers?

Since the Transformers movie is done being filmed, what are they going to do with all of the robots? I know that they will probably keep them operational for the next few weeks of advertising purposes, but what will the studio do with them afterwards? If think that the military may benefit from their use, but I don't think that the studio will let them be used for that. I just hope that the robots don't end up sitting unused in a warehouse waiting for a sequel. They could probably be used for construction or exploration purposes. It just seems a waste of technology to not have them reprogrammed to help humans.

Bear in mind that such special effects may not be all they seem.
In other words, trick photography & computer graphics are used.
But I'd guess these will end up in a theme park exhibit somewhere.

The robots are CG or computer graphics. Sorry to disappoint but there is no concern with what they are doing in their off time.

The robots you see onscreen in the Transformers movie are not real robots. There were some life-sized properly scaled models used for some footage and for reference, but 99% of the robots you will see on screen will be computer generated.
