What is the height of a door?

Answer:
In the USA, the standard residential door height is 6'-8". However, 7'-0" doors have become common in high end houses. Commercial doors can be 8'-0" or more depending on their use and location.
The height of the doors in my house is approximately 2 meters or 6 feet, and I guess it's pretty standard, but it may vary.

Hope it helps!
The frame opening for a prehung door is made 83 inches in US. The door opening is about 81 inches.
Technically speaking, the height of a door is the vertical distance between its lowest part, or bottom, and its highest part, or top.
Utach is correct, in the U.S a standard door opening is 6'8". This is what the door casing measures inside. The door it's self is 6'7". The framed opening would be framed 1" larger than the measure of the outside door casing. This leaves room so the door can be leveled and shimmed. It is typical to shim a door top middle and bottom of the side door casing. The space is shimmed and 8 penny finish nails used, two on each side of the casing per shim. So the door casing has 12, 8 penny hails holding it in place The trim is put on with 2 penny finish nails to the casing, and 6 penny finish hails to the walls, nail are spaced about 1 foot apart. The wind can blow this door shut or it can be slammed, and it wont come loose..
In commercial construction, in the US, under the international building code, a fire - rated door must be 80" tall (6'-8"). Shorter doors are permitted in residential construction and construction that does not have a fire rating. Standard doors are usually 2'-8" wide by 6'-8' tall.
