It depends on the university, but usually you will need to do the following at minimum for a BS.
Math: calc 1, calc2, multivariable calculus, differential equations
Chemistry: basic chemistry, organic chemistry, at least one semester of physical chemistry
Computers: usually you will need to learn a simulation program, such as ChemCAD or ASPEN
Now, there are considerably more classes available, and many are required as electives. But you get to pick. Math electives for ChE's are usually linear algebra, finite mathematics, and upper level calculus courses. At the graduate level you'll see Fourier transforms, finite difference calculus, and discrete mathematics. Chemistry electives can be the micro part of physical chemistry, biochemistry, analytical chemistry, or just about anything taught in the chemistry department. Computer electives will center around learning code languages and simulation software. This doesn't include the required engineering courses such as process engineering, kinetics, unit ops, heat and mass transfer, thermodynamics, process analysis and design, and process controls. Hope this helps, contact your school's ChE department to get a better idea of their exact program.
