Without this math the equations that define electrical discharge rates, dynamic storage and resistances could not be solved.

I'm no expert,infact just learning,but from what I can see thus far is overly complicated mathmatics is overated in engineering;becuase really all that seems to be needed is a good grounding and understanding of how algebra works.Things like knowing how to manipuate an equation in order to solve the desired variable.
