Okay, imagine I have a canister of compressed air and I want to screw it into a supply hose. What is the technical name of the female fitting that will release the air when I've screwed the canister in all the way?
Kind of like those paintball air tanks that screw into the bottom of the guns ... what is the part called that safely releases the air into the gun?

bottom of the gun where the tank goes is called an ASA or and ON/OFF valve best ones i think are CP (Custom Products) they are about 30bucks but they help out and keep you from wasting air
