How many workers died making the World Trade Center?
Answer:
In New York, of course. Don't be cute.
I read a book on the construction of WTC 1 and 2, and I remember it said that no steel workers were killed in the contruction. I would guess the number of other people who died was in the low teens. Usually, the people who die in high rise construction are other trades, not steel workers, and they usually die by falls through openings in the floor for things like ducts, water pipes, electrical conduit, elevators, and stairs that aren't adequately protected.
OSHA has started changing standards for openings in floors of building under construction to increase the safety of building construction.
Which world trade centre?
I work in one but not in the USA
