CS or ITfor BTech/BE?

which one is better for BTech/BE as both have almost same syllabi

Answer:
Stilll there is a fine difference between the two:
CS will give u wider understanding of computer software and hardware both. It will give you understanding of How exactly Language compilers work. It also covers the details about the computer architechture giving more idea about how things work at system level.
IT mostly an throughly concentrates on Software part. It deals exclusively in programming parts. System level things and hardware part is not much focussed.

So if u are getting CS and IT in same colleges better go with CS...as it will make things easier for you to understand from different perspective related with computers
...if you are getting CS in an avrg. college and IT in a good college then go for IT.
cs is better as they teach you hardware.where as IT teaches more of software which can be easily leant outside the college
c.s is a basic knowledge...... should be knowing it.u can do a small course....so learn I.T
cs is a better option.. cs is abt hardware n software but it is only abt sotware..
