What is the difference between the microwave and the radio wave?

Answer:
hi
i will explain u the difference between the two...

I WILL TELL U FROM THE BASICS....

Difference 1

Microwaves are electromagnetic waves with wavelengths longer than those of terahertz (THz) frequencies, but relatively short for radio waves. Microwaves have wavelengths approximately in the range of 30 cm (frequency = 1 GHz) to 1 mm (300 GHz). .

Radio waves, or RF, is a frequency or rate of oscillation within the range of about 3 Hz and 30 GHz
.Radio waves have the longest wavelengths in the electromagnetic spectrum.

DIFFERENCE 2

the main source of radio waves is Oscillatory circuit.having an inductor and capacitor....

the main source of micro waves is Oscillating current in special vaccum tube....like klystrons, magnetrons and Gunn Diodes....

DIFFERENCE 3

Radio waves
frequency is 10^9 to 5 * 10^5
wavelength is 0.3 to 6 * 10^2

Micro waves
Frequency is 3*10^11 to 10^9
wavelength is 10^-3 to 0.3

DIFFERENCE 4
Radio waves is used in different type of wireless communication sysytems...

Microwaves are used in radar systems, speed of tennis or cricket ball, cooking purposes.....

Hope this is the best answer uve got,
all the best..
