What voltage do spark plugs fire at?

Answer:
Checking the firing of spark plugs on an ocilloscope normally shows voltage in the range of 10 to 30 kv. High discharge coils can put out as much as 100kv. Enough to stop your heart , so don't play around. By the way, old style magnetos can put out over 50,000 volts, not 6 or 12 volts.
really high
From a 12 volt battery I would guess 12 volts?
most cars run on 12 volts , older ones ran on 6 volts, small engines with magneto probably less
the source of current is 12 volts
It depending on the kind of plug, between 40,000 and 100,000 volts.
'bout 50,000
40,000 to 100,000 thousand volts.
