What is the best way to mix carbon nanotubes in epoxy?
Answer:
Yes, a small lab model three roll mill is the best choice. Typically a 2.5" diameter and 5" long roller. The batch size can be under 100g. As far as I know, there are three suppliers. Charles Ross & Son Company in Hauppauge, New York, Torrey Hills Technologies in San Diego, CA and Exakt (Europe?). Their machines are equally good for this application. Torrey Hills' machine represents the best value.
If you are mixing a small volume, a small scale three roll mill is a good instrument to use.
