Is doing mechanical engineering from nit better or doing electronics from ordinary college??
Answer:
depends- do you enjoy mech eng or electronics better?
electronics from an ordinary college (that costs less than nit) is better in the long run, since there are higher-paying electronics-related jobs in the market. nit and other brand names for colleges are good for you only if you're trying to go for even higher education after this degree. once you're out looking for a job, the college you went to doesn't matter as much.
if you've already gotten into nit, though, congrats- i would personally go there, since college is one of those prime times in your life and you would get a better college experience there.
wish you the best in your studies!
Go for NIT if you are interested in ME. Why this question?
in all probability u'll end up in some IT corporate in both cases.so better go for Computer Science & Engineering.
man... dont miss out on an NIT.. what are you even thinkin? Mech engg is a gr8 branch and nothin but IIT is better than doing engg from a NIT.. chuck the other colleges.. ever thought of brand name n alumni and other factors?
go for NIT...forget abt the other colleges man ..apart frm the branch the brand name also plays a part...mech is an evergreen branch...even if u plan to do an MBA after BTECH this brand name will always come in handy
