Does one have greater strengths than another? Maybe so ... but I'm talking about the strengths that would serve you as an undergrad. It really doesn't matter how many frickin' research papers their math department puts out if their undergrad teaching assistants stink. Maybe this doesn't apply, but you get the point.
Go to the one that makes you feel good being there, not the one with all the "WOW" influence in has on you. Once there, buddy, it's really hard work and long hours at that; and the name on the gate won't mean crap. You want to go to the one where you'll put in your greatest effort, because that's what you get in return. Go with your heart, and head, and you'll be making a good decision.
CalPoly Pomona! gets my vote. My cousin went there a got a great educations in Environmental Engineering.
