Is robotic the major in Mechanical or electronic Engineering?
Answer:
i think its both because making it run requires both mechanical and electrical / electronic proficiences.
Well think about it like this while it takes both electronic and mechanical skills to build a robot. Which does it use more obviously the electronic (unless you're thinking of the renaissance "robots") because while you use mechanical engineering it is only small portion of the knowledge that goes into designing a robot and a vast majority is electronic. Unless you decide to go with the classic rope and pulley system and to get around the whole electronic engineering degree you would not only have to do that but build a logic circuit that doesn't use any electricity. Quiet frankly you can't have one without the other in the field of robotics but majoring in electronic engineering is much more important and therefore I would have to say that it is electronic engineering.
well acoording to me robotics is major both in mechanical as well as in electronics.today to built a robot a mechanical as well as elect. engg. is required.but the first step was taken by electronics field for ur knowledge.today robots are being used widely in both fields!!
I believe its both or it should be about equal cross over to each other you want a better understanding of robotics
