Is electronics engineering branch better than computer science and engineering?

Answer:
Yes...many folks view CS as administrative in nature, ie building web-pages, and running software, whereas EE's can do both programing along with equipment interface.

Put yourself in the place of the person hiring. If you can demonstrate capability in both fields, you're more than 2x as valuable to the company.

The more important aspect, is what you have a passion for. If you are going to succeed at anything you must have a passion for it!

In most cases the individual makes the position what it is, not the other way around. Don't worry about what the market wants. If the job doesn't fit your needs, you'll fail. Forty years from now, you don't want to drag yourself out of bed in the morning, and look back at "what if".

Good luck!
I don't think so, computer engg. is far better option right now than electronics as you can get more pay package in future and chances of going abroad also increases.
But you will have advantage that if you choose electronics, you have option to get job in IT as well as Electronics.
i think so
I think electronics is much better.BEcoz u have oppurtunity to go to IT if u complete Electronics course but its not feasible in the other way...

When u do electronics u have lot of oppurtunities including IT but when u do CS u have only one choice...

also ...there is no computers without electronics...so core is electronics and its evergreen..u have lot of streams which are non-it and which are IT..
SO Electronics is much better
yes,it is better to join electronics than to join computers because the computersis a branch which undergoes continuous fluctuations in the market
Not necessarily but electronics will give you a better advantage than just being pigeon holed in computer science and engineering.

In electronics and electronics engineering, you have the option to learn the following: programming, computer repair, computer networking (LAN and WAN), circuit construction, electrical motor controls, programmable logic controls (PLC's), telecommunications, and general troubleshooting.
no i don't think so... in computer science and engineering one can have immense Digital communication and telecommunication knowledge, better microcontroller/microprocessor programming, one can have robotics, CNC machines & computer programming much much better than a electronics engineer, computer networking much better than EE .......in computer scince CS & E is uncompeteable by EE..... in engineering both can compete equaly depending on personel's interest
so one can justify that which one is better...
