In an engineering college do they look for class 12s marks during placements in various MNCs?
Answer:
they do check for marks in 10th and 12th.. but 70% is good. These marks are not the screening criteria.. it only like these shouldn't be exceptionally bad. I have got 65% in +2 and passed out from NIT-Durgapur.. Got placement in my first company and working in capgemini for past two years.. all they ask whether i was 1st class through out or not... :)
cheer up.. you will not face any problem. concentrate on your engineering..
They would recruit students on the basis of degree performance and also they would expect a percentage more than 60 in hr.sec nd 10th..but at rare cases they would reject in sake of percentage..one of my frnds got rejected for having less percentage in 10th..he scored less than 60% nd thats the reason...so prepare sincerely..u'll get placement..all the best
ya they will 12th mark for placement
