How do you protect your power transmission from pilferages and what program you have taken to avoid it.?

This is in respect with the problems encountered by our transmission company with regards to pilperages of tower parts and braces causing total collapse of some of transmission lines. Any bright ideas on how to avoid this will be highly appreciated..
