How often do you need to wind a waltham 31 regulator clock?

Answer:
Is this a trick question? <grin>

Ideally, as the name implies, it should manage 31 days between winds.

FYI: It's tough to wind one of these clocks "too tight" by hand in an attempt to get your 31 days out of it! If you ever do wind it tightly and it refuses to start, it may well be that the spring has become gummed up, and in winding it, you've got it properly stuck together. Would require professional removal for cleaning.

That said, be careful if it's an older model. Parts can be hard to find for these.
