How many bags of sand at 15kg to fill a sand pit at (h)28 (w)120 (d)?

(H)28 (W)120 (D)120 SAND IS 15KG

Answer:
If your dimensions are in centimetres you will need 52 bags of wet sand or 43 bags of dry sand. The density I have used for each is 1922kg/m3 for wet and 1602kg/m3 for dry.

If the measurements specified are cm the volume of the sandpit in m3 is 0.28 x 1.2 x 1.2 which is 0.4032m3.

Multiply this by the density of the sand to get the total weight required.
Wet = 0.4032 x 1922 = 774.95kg
Dry = 0.4032 x 1602 = 645.93kg

Divide this by 15 as we know each bag weighs 15kg.
774.95 / 15 = 51.66 = 52 bags
645.93 / 15 = 43.06 = 43 bags
Would that be inches, feet, metres, miles, yards, kilometers, nautical miles, light years???
This needs to be calculated via reverse-engineering of the density of sand.

[edit] I mean, you need to know the density of sand to answer this question.
area of the pit 28*120*120=4,03,200
so,4,03,200/15= 26,880
so, 26,880 bags of sand is needed..
i dont know whether it is correct. jus a try.. heeeeeeeee.... pls tell me the solution if u get one...!
