What is common between communication and electronics engineer?

what both study ? which is better in career ? how to choose between them ?

Answer:
Well I'll just start and say an Electrical Engineer can fill both of these roles and be either a communications or electronics engineer. As you probably know a communications engineer plans and develops communication systems, both analog and digital. An electronics engineer plans and develops electronics systems, both analog and digital. I would say all electrical communication systems involve electronic components such as frequency shifters, modulators, mixers, etc. As far as if you're considering a degree and choosing between the two, electronics will offer more options, but there will be a lot of common courses in both curricula. I couldn't say if one career is really "better" than the other. That depends on how well you end up liking the subject matter. Most work that both engineers do will be at a computer desiging systems. A communication engineer will be developing new systems, while an electronics engineer will be developing new transistors and such.
Communications engineerrs specialize
in communications system, like telephones,
tv. radio, satcomm. Whereas most electronics
engineers know far more about GPS,
than they do electronics.
The curriculum varies from school to school. There can be a huge difference in the degrees and suitable employment. What you go into should be based on what you like to do. You will be doing it a long time.

Look at the catalogs of the schools you are thinking of going to to get a feel.
