I have been assembling 1700w compressors into self contained refrigerating units for some time. I have found that the company I buy from currently have a unit that will cost me $100 less. Looking for advice as to how to test longevity?

Well, Thailand is a third-world country so people will work for pennies there. Not many quality products come from Thailand. I have doubts about your compressors lasting a long time, but hey, who knows, what do i know.
