Solidworks 2007 dimensions?

How to use the autodimensions button on Solidworks 2007?

How can I use this button? Ihave a solidworks early visibility version 2007 and for some reason the autodimension button stays grey, I can use all the other dimensions but not this one and i was wondering why? Any help is greatly appreciated! I am new to solidworks but not to cad

This is an advanced feature and likely was not included with an early release. It is one of the reason to encourage users to upgrade.
