What is Standard Air Flow rate?
How to calculate other types of air flow rates: Volumetric, massflow etc.
Answer:
You need a gas air flow meter for air, and liquid for others. They are very simple, in-line devices with a plastic or metal ball inside, and visible gradations marked on the outside. They come calibrated, and for cGMP need to be calibrated and documented once or twice a year.

air flow can be measured by many means, i have a anemometer that has 4 settings: Ft/Min, M/S, Knots and KM/H.
the anemometer will give me airflow speed but not volume flow, so if i wished to calculate volume flow i would need to measure the total output of the ductwork and multiply the airflow speed by the area of the outlet.
