If you drop a penny from a really high building like empire state building will it kill someone?

if it hits them in the head? how do you know?

Answer:
No, this has been proven by the Mythbusters on Discovery. It does not have enough mass, and therefore force, to greatly injure someone.
I have heard that it could kill someone. (It gains speed.)
Why don't you try and find out for yourself?
No. Because it tumbles, the penny will reach terminal velocity within 500 feet of the drop point, and will not accelerate any further.
No :)
i agree with the person who mentioned mythbusters...its not true so dont try it cuz it aint gunna work
Nope, the penny will reach terminal velocity which is not fast enough to injure a person. It would sure hurt allot...
It will not kill them. The penny will tumble in the air, creating a varying aerodynamic drag coefficient. The penny's terminal velocity will always be less than 50 mph, meaning it will never exceed that speed no matter how far it falls. It will sting quite a bit, but it won't even pierce your skin.

This was tested on Mythbusters.
No
That has been tested.
The penny has a teminal velocity that is not high enough to kill.
Nooooooooooooooooooooo
