How do i build a mousetrp car and what are the easiest materials to make it out of?
we have to make one for school and i have n idea what i want to do
Answer:
We had to do that for physics a few months ago. You want to have wheels that are as big as possible, while not providing too much resistance for the mousetrap to pull. You also want to have small axles for the wheels, and have them well lubricated; friction is your worst enemy. The bigger the radius of the arc of the mousetrap the more distance you will get out of it while sacrificing initial speed. I build mine out of Lego technic pieces, which seemed to work well, but i also tried using pulleys which screwed everything up, because it lost more energy to friction than was provided by the mechanical advantage...that's all i can remember.
well i would build it out of
