What are the worst or most annoying product designs you have come across?

Examples:

I cannot get my sunglasses out of the cubby hole in my dashboard if the car is in park because the gear shift blocks it.

The automatically activated soap dispenser on the sink in the men's room at work dispenses soap whenever someone places their hands under the faucet but doesn't dispense soap when one places their hands under the soap dispenser.

Answer:
When I get my hands on the guy who designed the traffic light system in my city I'm going to (edited for content).
I feel your pain. I have often wondered if I am undead or something because I am invisible to anything motion activated, especially in bathrooms.
The harly davison while owned by amf was so bat they had to put drip pans underneath them in the show room. They leaked and broke down all the time. They also looked awful.
I would have to the air shoes!!! Those are just a bunch of **** helleys!! or a pooper scooper because when i do my cats litter box little tin poops fall right out the bottem!!!!
most annoying:
there is a door that someone designed so that it is not really possible to open it for someone, I am so annoyed at that door.

second on my list:
in the 1953 Plymouth cranbrook
only in first gear, if you put the gas to the floor, the motor twists enough to lock the gear shifting linkage and the throttle linkage together, so wen you let off the gas nothing changes.
pushing in the clutch or turning off the key fixes it.

last:
that most wine bottles do not have twist off lids, how long have we had the technology to do this?, meet the 21st century people, stop using hard to remove annoying chunks of wood to seal you bottles.
I'm sure someone thought it was a good idea at the time, or a great "cost saver" but if I find the guy who spec'd solid core wire for houses I'm going to kill him. Every time I change a fixture in my house I end up screaming my head off. There's nothing good you can say about solid core wire that isn't better with stranded.
Bagless vacuum cleaners. They really suck (no pun intended).

I'm surprised that they are still on the market.

We tried several different models and brands, and by the time we got done cleaning a prefilter, a filter, and an after filter, and put it all back together again, and then tried emptying the dust bin somewhere where all the disgusting crap that was pulled out of the carpet wouldn't get all over us, we wondered why we had to work so hard to keep this thing operating. If the whole thing wasn't cleaned out every time we used it it lost all it's suction.

Every time I see these things advertised, I wonder why they haven't been outlawed yet.
