How ELCB works?
Answer:
An induction coil surrounds all of the conductors. Any current that flows out but not back in through another conductor (i.e. leakage current) will induce a voltage in the coil.
The induction coil is wired to a trip coil. A voltage from the induction coil causes a current to flow in the trip coil and trips the elcb.
