Where can i find an alternator that woks with a battery powered motor?

im looking for an alternator that will work with a battery powered motor. i want to use a battery to power it and use it to charge another battery.

Answer:
check car sites on the web.
car alternator .. better use a BIG DC motor
Why? The losses would be considerable. It would be much more efficient to use an electronic circuit to take the DC power from the first battery, jack it up or regulate it down and control the charging current.
Mike; You ask why? it's called a troll; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/troll_%28in...

But there was a time when electronics were not as cheap and reliable as now and motor driven alternators were sometimes used to generate AC power. Just a few months ago I used a scissors lift (which looked fairly old, but not ancient) that had a motor/alternator unit to supply 120VAC from the batteries (no I didn't try plugging the lift's charger into the alternator)
