Can a soaked bean really lift two tons?

What is teh scientific expnation of this phenomena?

Answer:
yes!!!! this all happens due to imbibition.....for example,to break huge rocks , "agar-agar" a kind of algae is put into the cracks of rocks and when rain comes the algae absorbs water due to imbibition and breaks the HHHHHHHHHHHHuge rocks apart
